We’re gonna ride, ride, ride, RIDE...THE DINOSAUR TRAIN!!!!

Last Saturday my family was invited to Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum for a special Dinosaur Train event celebrating National Train Day hosted by The Jim Henson Company and PBS SoCal.






My son, in his train hat, LOVED to ride the trains!  Of course we had to ride and ride and RIDE!  We had such a great time.  We spent the day listening to music singalong played by Craig Bartlett, creator of Dinosaur Train.




With beautiful weather and stories read by Joe Purdy, the series story editor, and having a chance to play with the all-new construction toy sets based on Dinosaur Train we enjoyed our day.


My toddler was at first intimidated by Buddy, but at the end of the celebration was eager to meet him and take pictures!



Much to my surprise we were rewarded at the end of the event with a gift bag!  I thought my toddler was going to take a nap on the drive home, but nope he was too busy playing with his new toy!

Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum is open every Sunday, except Sunday before Memorial Day and the first Sunday in October, from 10:45am - 3pm.  Suggested donation of $3.  For more information click here
