Honus and Me: A Baseball Card Adventure - Oct 1 - 16 2011
Magical things happen when Little Leaguer Joey Stoshack finds the most valuable baseball card in the world – the T-206 Honus Wagner. Set in contemporary Pittsburgh, Honus and Me is filled with baseball lore and time travel with a twist. It transports the legendary Honus Wagner to the present and takes Joey – and the audience – to the thrilling 1909 World Series between Ty Cobb’s Detroit Tigers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Families, baseball fans and those who love an unexpected tale will be enchanted by this surprising play. (For ages 6+)

Sleeping Beauty: The Time-Traveler

Rolly is a typical kid whose boring summer vacation turns into a terrific adventure when he stumbles on the past and ends up in 10th century France. There he encounters Princess Aurora, a feisty 12 year old girl who longs to be a knight and travel the world. Aurora's parents don't let her leave the castle walls because of a secret curse that was put on her when she was born. Despite all their protection, Aurora pricks her finger on a spindle and the curse comes to pass – she sleeps for a thousand years. Rolly, back in the present, finds the sleeping Aurora and wakes her up. The two friends are reunited and Aurora gets to discover the world outside the castle at last! (For ages 5+)

Choo-Choo Soul offers hip, kid-friendly songs all about the ABC’s and 123’s as well as, tracks from Choo-Choo Soul’s self titled CD including “Chugga Chugga Choo Choo,” “Let’s Dance” and “Blue Zoo Train.”

Based on the Newberry Award winning novel, A Wrinkle in Time is the story of Meg Murry, a high-school-aged girl who is transported on an adventure through time and space with her younger brother Charles Wallace and her friend Calvin O'Keefe to rescue her father, a gifted scientist, from the evil forces that hold him prisoner on another planet. With the help of some celestial creatures, including the eccentric Mrs. Whatsit, the children travel by tesseract – a sort of "wrinkle" in space and time. Ultimately, Meg realizes that the only force that can counteract evil is love and eventually the family is reunited. (For ages 7+)
