Candy Land at JANM - FREE!!! February 12th

Celebrate food and all things candy at JANM! Fun treats for the entire family!
ALL DAY CRAFT ACTIVITIES:
•Embellish and fill a box with your own candy-inspired decorations
•Make a wearable treat by constructing a candy lei to give to someone special!
•Ruthie’s Origami Corner: Learn how to fold an origami candy dish!
SCHEDULE:
11 AM: Doors open
12:00 PM: International candy buffet by Sweetlips Design (while supplies last, for children only)
12:30 PM:– 30-minute tour of our Historic Building, the former home of the Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (15 max)
1 – 4 PM: Take a photo and put on a chocolate lollipop! (while supplies last, for children only)
1 - 4 PM: Kidding Around the Kitchen will celebrate Valentines Day with a fancy fresh fruit kebab with a strawberry rose on top
2 PM: Fugetsu-Do Sweet Shop mochi* demonstration and tasting.
*Mochi is a Japanese confection, found usually in the shape of a small, round rice cake which can be eaten with various condiments.
