Port of Long Beach: Green Port Fest

The Port of Long Beach will be having a Green Port Fest on Saturday, Oct 2nd.

Experience the Port firsthand on one of our fully narrated harbor, rail, and bicycle tours. The harbor and rail tours are first-come, first-served, and they go fast, so get there early to secure your seat.

Harbor Tours

See towering gantry cranes, barking sea lions and massive cargo ships on one of our 45-minute boat tours. Boats depart every 15 minutes from the docks next to the Queen Mary. Shuttles will take passengers from the Port's Administration Building, near the festival, to the docks.

Rail Tours

Climb aboard a double-decker passenger train to see one of our cargo terminals in action, compliments of Metrolink. Watch dockworkers, truckers and crane operators unload containers and prepare them for distribution to stores all over the country. Trains depart from our Green Port Fest Train Station every hour beginning at 10:30 a.m. Last train leaves 2:30 p.m. Please line up about 30 minutes before departure time.

Children's Playground

Children can visit the kids train ride, slide, an arts and crafts activity center, or sit for a face painting. They can also visit the Aquarium of the Pacific's touch tank.
