Saturday Kids Theatre @ Haugh Performing Arts in Citrus College

The Saturday Series for Kids program offered at the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus College in Glendora, CA is a series of 7, one-hour long shows geared especially for children and does a lot to introduce kids to live theatre. Every show is different and educational and gives an opportunity for the parents to become a big part of that process, far more than a movie or TV program can offer.

The 2010-2011 season:

CLICK CLACK MOO - SAT. NOVEMBER 6, 2010
KNUFFLE BUNNY: A CAUTIONARY MUSICAL - SAT. NOVEMBER 20, 2010
As seen on Playhouse Disney - CHOO CHOO SOUL (with Genevieve!) SAT. JANUARY 29, 2011
THE BERENSTAIN BEARS IN FAMILY MATTERS: THE MUSICAL - SAT. FEBRUARY 12, 2011
ANNE OF GREEN GABLES - SAT. MARCH 5, 2011
THE WIZARD OF OZ - SAT. MARCH 26, 2011
SEUSSICAL! THE MUSICAL - SAT. APRIL 9, 2011

All shows are offered at both 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Tickets for this series are $6 per show, but if you purchase all 7 shows in the season, tickets are under $4 per show...a 40% savings per person. (Please note: everyone, regardless of age including infants and toddlers must have a ticket to enter the theatre.)

Or you can also do what I did Group 10 or more is $5 each

FREE parking.

Last year we saw the Little Engine that Could and my son loved it. I was nervous taking a toddler, but for $5 I though what did I have to loose. The theatre is beautiful too.

The Autry is Free to the public on the second Tuesday of every month. We went and had a great time. I initially thought maybe my toddler was too young to go, but he was great. In one part of the museum your child gets onto a saddle and he is part of a movie. He LOVED doing this. There is also a children area that they pretend to play house and store. If your child is not into it you can always head afterward to Travel Town around the corner which is always FREE.
